Here are this week's most bizarre police calls, reports and charges. All information was provided by police reports from departments in Patch communities. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. Can't you smell that smell? On Feb. 16, a Fairlawn Chuck E. Cheese security guard pulled Lamar E. Hill outside of the children's arcade after detecting a strong marijuana odor emanating from his clothes. The security guard – who also works as a Summit County sheriff's deputy – found eight bags of marijuana in Hill's possession, along with $360 in cash. Hill, 25, of Akron, later admitted to stuffing a handful of the bags in the trash before exiting Chuck E. Cheese with security, according to a Fairlawn police …

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.
Twinsburg police pulled over a car for speeding on State Route 82 near Commons Boulevard on Oct. 30 at around 11 p.m. During the stop officers found the driver, a juvenile, had marijuana. He was arrested and charged for possession and speeding through juvenile court. The passenger in the car wasn't charged but both were released to their parents. Am I not supposed to do that? On Oct. 31 police stopped a car for a traffic violation on Glenwood Drive. During the stop cops found the driver was driving on a suspended license and had an open alcohol container in the car. He was also wanted on a warrant by another police department. The man was arrested and held on $500 bond.

Twinsburg police officers most likely had an interesting evening with this lovely couple. Officers got a call on Oct. 19 about a woman standing in front of a Darrow Road business in Town Center after her boyfriend kicked her out of the car and took off. He, 25, was mad because she, 19, wouldn't get a job. She was angry because he kicked her out and took her stuff with him. Police told the man to come back, which he did, and agreed to drop her off at a bus station. Several hours later he came back to the police station because she was throwing things around the car. Police told her to wait for a ride to the bus station at TPD, but as she was getting her things, she began to scream at her boyfriend and slammed her phone on the ground after …

One Twinsburg man was driving along, minding his own business when vandals struck. A Rolling Hills Drive man called police on Oct. 18 to report damage to his car. He told officers he was stopped on Ravenna Road and Glenwood Drive when someone hurled a rock at his car and shattered his front passenger window. More car damage On Oct. 20 a Belleau Drive man for a reported his car was damaged while it was parked in the driveway. The owner said his car was parked overnight when he found damage to the left rear. It looked like someone used a blunt object and struck it, judging by the two dents, about 10 long on the car. Trespassing On Oct. 15 police were called about a 51-year-old man trespassing on the property of the Presidential Parkway …

Twinsburg police officers responded to two separate calls for dogs at large last week. The first report was from a Timberwood Drive resident on Oct. 17 after resident reported a dog bite. After investigating, police determined the victim was not bitten by a dog but knocked to the ground by it. The dog's owner was cited for charges of a dog at large. Then on Oct. 18 officers responded to a report of two large dogs roaming near a Waywood Drive home. Officers located the dogs and the owner. The owner, a Twinsburg resident, retrieved his dogs and was cited animals at large, a misdemeanor.

A Parma man led Twinsburg police on a dangerous high-speed chase on Oct. 12, reaching speeds of 111 mph. According to police, officers pulled over a car on East Aurora Road for weaving, eventually striking the curb by the McDonald's. After talking to the driver, Frank Neumann, 24, of Parma, police thought he had been drinking, so they asked him to get out of his car for a field sobriety test. Neuman refused, even locking the doors as the officer tried to open it. Finally, after police unlocked the door, Neumann slammed it shut and sped off going west on I-480, according to the report. Police said they paced his car at 111 mph at one point, as he was weaving in and out of traffic, even striking the side of the bridge over I-271. Neumann …

A report of domestic violence led Twinsburg police to a drug arrest on Oct. 11. Officers arrived at a Darrow Park Drive apartment and found a couple arguing, but it was determined there was no violence involved. While in the apartment though, police found a digital scale and numerous marijuana smoking devices in plain sight. The man involved admitted they were his and was charged with drug paraphernalia possession. Stolen meds A North Ridgeville woman called Twinsburg police while she was staying at a friend's house because someone stole her medication. The owner of Pooch Palace on Darrow Road and a current employee of the business spoke to a Twinsburg police officer regarding "harassing communications" from a former employee on Oct. 2. The officer contacted the former employee and told them to stop contacting them both or a criminal charge could be filed. ------- On Oct. 4 at around 7 p.m. police received a call from a parent on the 10800 block of Ravenna Road. The woman said her 16-year-old son had been assaulted by another male juvenile. When police arrived they saw the son had sustained a "very minor" injury. The officer spoke to the parties involved and the investigation is ongoing.

A West Idlewood Drive man was arrested last week after he hit a parked car and drove away while he was drunk, according to police. John Tylek, 43, was charged with drunken driving and leaving the scene of a crash after he hit a car in the RAV's Creekside parking lot on Sept. 20 and then driving away. The car's owner called police after she was told her car had been hit. A witness said she heard screeching tires and saw a car hit a parked car and leave. Police found the car described by the witness sitting in the Walgreen's parking lot "parked over the curb, in the tree lawn, diagonally across a few parking spaces," according to the report. Twinsburg police were called to a Ravenna Road business for an alarm on Sept. 22. Officers got to Fast Lane Drive Thru and found the front door shattered. After they secured the building they discovered several cartons of cigarettes were stolen. Detectives were brought in to process the scene but there are no leads or supspects. Those aren't real bills Police were called to the Sheetz gas station on East Aurora Raod for a report of counterfeit money that was passed at the register.
