Gear Up for the Twinsburg Duathlon
The event will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sunday at the Twinsburg Fitness Center
There's still time for established and aspiring endurance athletes to register for the third annual Twinsburg Duathlon. The Duathlon begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Mickey Rzymek, president of North Coast Multisports, expects 300 participants in the event that will include a 10-mile bike ride sandwiched between a pair of two-mile runs. "We've got people from four different states this year — people coming from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Florida and Ohio," Rzymek said. "(Attracting people from far away) just shows how strong the athletic community is in Twinsburg." Among the 200 or so people already registered are Twinsburg firefighter Jim Woolf and police Lt.
