Cleveland Browns for Sale? What Do You Think of the Rumors?

The team’s owner, Randy Lerner, has said he is in conversations with Jimmy Haslam, who is “interested in making an investment.”

Updated, 2:40 p.m.: Fox 8 News Cleveland reports that Randy Lerner will sell his controlling interest in the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner has confirmed rumors that he is in negotiations with a potential investor, Jimmy Haslam. According to a release on the Browns' website, Haslam is “interested in making an investment in the Cleveland Browns.” Crain’s Cleveland Business reports that it is not clear whether the move would make Haslam a majority or minority owner in the team if it goes through. But Fox 8 reported Friday that team president Mike Holmgrem has confirmed that Lerner is selling controlling interest in the Browns. The Browns took running back Trent Richardson with the third pick -- they traded up from the fourth pick to snag the Alabama star -- and quarterback Brandon Weeden with the 22nd pick. In honor of tonight's AFC North rivalry game, we want to know which of Pittsburgh's players you can't stand

  Editors' Note: This poll is all in good fun. Both Editors Chris Mazzolini and Mitch Cooper are die-hard Cleveland Browns fans. Tonight marks the 119th meeting in the storied rivalry that is the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. Sadly, for Browns fans at least, the Steelers have the series lead, 62-56. In their last 15 meetings, the Brownies have only pulled out one win, which was actually on a Thursday night only two seasons ago. And since we are in Northeast Ohio (and not from that state off to the east somewhere), we know that everyone bleeds brown and orange. To celebrate a rivalry that has, admittedly, been one-side in recent years, we ask this question:
