A 39-year-old Twinsburg man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found suspected drug remnants after they responded to complaints of a domestic dispute. Police arrived and helped the woman, who had been fighting with the man, retrieve belongings from an apartment on Ravenna Road so that she could spend the evening with a friend. Police searched the home and found in a dresser a mirror covered in suspected cocaine residue, a razor blade, a glass pipe with suspected marijuana residue and counterfeit crack cocaine, according to the police report. The man was cited with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and ordered to appear in Stow Municipal Court on Thursday.

A man was stopped by police after they believed he stole a number of lawnmowers. Turns out the lawnmowers were his. The problem, though, were that the drugs in the truck were his too, according to police. On April 6 at about 1 p.m. Twinsburg Police received a call from Solon Police informing them that a man had just stolen some lawnmowers in Solon and that a Chevy truck carrying the lawnmowers were headed towards Twinsburg. A Twinsburg police officer found the truck and pulled it over, but it was determined that the lawnmowers were not stolen after all and belonged to the driver, a 48-year-old Cleveland man. A traffic violation led two Twinsburg 19-year-olds to be cited on drug charges. A Twinsburg police officer pulled over the car at about 4 a.m. on Feb. 15 on Darrow Road near Heinen's. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, according to the police report. Officers searched the car and found a baggy of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette. There were also six full beer cans in the car. The driver, 19, from Twinsburg, was cited with possession of marijuana, underage possession of alcohol, disobeying a traffic control device and not wearing a seatbelt. The passenger, also 19, from Twinsburg, was cited with marijuana possession. Both will appear in Stow Municipal Court on Feb. 21. The drugs were taken as evidence.

Twinsburg Police officers arrested two Hudson residents for heroin possession after they grew suspicious of a car parking and running in the Cleveland Clinic parking lot at about 11 p.m. on Jan. 14, according to a police report. Arrested and charged was Allison L. Kuczma, 24, and William Rummling Kelly, 26, both of Hudson, according to the police report. They face drug possession charges. The driver of the car also faces a charge of driving under the influence of drugs. According to the report, police found both people in possession of heroin and marijuana. Both were arrested and transported to the Solon jail.

A 24-year-old Solon man was arrested and charged after police broke up a large party at his Bainbridge Road where minors were drinking, including four people from Twinsburg, according to Solon Police. Police say 14 guests were either arrested or cited for underage drinking on Jan. 13 at about 12:55 a.m. Besides the host, all of the guest were under 21 and five were under eighteen. Officers were called to the area of Bainbridge Road near Sharondale Drive after a resident called to report a bunch of people running toward a house. A Twinsburg Township teen faces charges after he tried to hide marijuana from police by eating it, according to a police report. On Jan. 6, a police officer tried to pull over a car for speeding on Darrow Road. The car continued to speed away and only stopped later after turning onto Twinsburg Road and then Wildel Drive, the report reads. The officer approached the car to find the teen driver, a 17-year-old from Twinsburg Township, with marijuana all over his mouth and clothes. The teen admitted to police that he didn't pull over right away because he was trying to eat the marijuana to hide it, according to the report. The teen was released to his mother. A police dog sniffed out drugs during a traffic stop, leading to drug abuse charges for the male driver, according to Twinsburg Police. The driver was pulled over by a police officer after he ran a red light on Aurora Road near Interstate 480 at about 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 1., according to the police report. The officer used a police dog to search the car. The dog sniffed out marijuana in a sandwich bag and a marijuana cigarette in the middle console, and also found a grinder with marijuana residue on the drivers seat, the report reads. The driver was cited for drug abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia and running a red light. He will appear in Stow Municipal Court on Dec. 7.

A man was rushed to the hospital by Twinsburg paramedics after his friend called and said he was sick after smoking marijuana, according to Twinsburg Police. The police received a call at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 28 from a man who said they had been smoking weed and his friend had become sick, according to the police report. The caller said his friend had been throwing up in the kitchen of the Fiarfield Drive home and was drifting in and out of consciousness. Police and paramedics went to the house, and the sick man was taken to University Hospitals of Twinsburg. One Twinsburg woman was taking out the trash and ended up in handcuffs. On Sept. 17 a Twinsburg police officer was patrolling Darrow Park Drive when he recognized a woman who was standing by a community dumpster. The woman had an active warrant from Solon police on a traffic offense. The officer talked to her and arrested her after she admitted to the warrant. She was transferred to Solon. An anonymous tip led Twinsburg police to the 2300 block of Sherwin Drive on Aug. 27, where a man was allegedly growing marijuana in his grandmother's house. According to police, the caller said the grandson stayed there during the week because he had multiple sclerosis and was legally blind and needed to be taken to doctors appointments. When police got to the home, the grandmother answered the door and said her grandson was up in his room smoking marijuana with his friends. She agreed to let police search the home and they found the grandson and two other men in his room smoking marijuana.
