Man Arrested After Assaulting His Sister, Getting Tasered By Police

A 33-year-old Twinsburg man attacked his sister and left her injured in a parking lot and later fought back against police, according to Twinsburg Police. Arrested and charged was Robert L. Reilly, 33, of Twinsburg. His charges are include felonious assault, a second-degree felony, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a police report. On Jan. 14 just before midnight, police say that Reilly and his sister began to fight while drinking at Rush Hour. They left the bar and began walking through Massara's Plaza on Ravenna Road when Reilly reportedly began to punch his sister, according to the report. She told police that he also attacked her after she was on the ground, including grabbing her hair and slamming her…

Woman Charged With Felony For Carrying Three Knives

A 47-year-old Painesville woman was charged with felony carrying a concealed weapon after police found three knives in her purse during a traffic stop, according to Twinsburg Police. Deloris K. Burgess-Blake, 47, was charged with a felony because of prior convictions. The woman was arrested after a traffic stop because the car she was riding in was pulling a trailer without registration, according to the police report. The knives, which were in the woman's purse, are described as folding knives. The woman was booked in the Twinsburg jail.
