The murder trial against Glenn Wong to be continued until the defendant receives an evaluation into "his mental condition at the time of the alleged offense," according to court records
Glenn Wong will receive a psychological evaluation to determine his mental condition, according to Summit County Court of Common Pleas. Wong, who faces murder charges in the stabbing death of his wife Tami Wong, appeared in court last week. His attorney, Brian M. Pierce, requested the insanity evaluation be conducted before the court proceedings continue. Wong is expected back in court near the end of May. He remains in Summit County Jail. Wong was indicted in March by the grand jury on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence, according to court records. Glenn Wong has pleaded not guilty in Summit County court to murder and other charges in the February death of his wife, Tami Wong. Wong appeared in court recently, and his attorney sought a continuance in the case. The pre-trial hearing has been continued until April 26. Wong was indicted in March by the grand jury on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence, according to court records. Twinsburg Police have identified the victim in a domestic dispute that they say led to murder on Sunday. Tami A. Wong, 46, of Twinsburg, was pronounced dead at the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg. She was suffering from multiple stab wounds. Her husband, Glenn Wong, 50, of Twinsburg, has been charged with aggravated murder in her death. According to the police report, officers were called to 3180 Abrams Drive at 7:06 a.m. Sunday to deal with a domestic violence in progress. The police found Tami Wong in a first-floor bedroom suffering from multiple stab wounds. She was transported to Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg, where she died. Glenn Wong pleaded not guilty Monday to aggravated murder charges in the stabbing death of his wife. Wong 50, of Twinsburg, appeared via video at Stow Municipal Court Monday morning. Bond was set at $1 million. His wife, Tami A. Wong, 46, of Twinsburg, was pronounced dead at the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg. She had been stabbed a number of times. Wong appeared calm during his hearing, asking basic questions of the judge. He inquired about getting street clothes and even talked about his "now deceased" wife. Glenn Wong, 50, of Twinsburg, is in the Summit County Jail charged with aggravated murder.
A 50-year-old Twinsburg man is charged with aggravated murder in the stabbing death of his wife, according to Twinsburg Police. Glenn Wong, 50, is currently in the Summit County jail on the murder charge. Wong will be arraigned Monday in Stow Municipal Court, according to the Twinsburg Bulletin. The woman, who's name has not been released yet, was found stabbed multiple times in a first-floor bedroom just after 7 a.m. Police were heading to the house on a domestic violence call. The woman died at the Cleveland Clinic Family Health and Surgery Center, where she was taken for her injuries. WKYC Channel 3 has reported that two children were in the home at the time of the incident.
