Glenn Wong To Be Evaluated For Insanity

The murder trial against Glenn Wong to be continued until the defendant receives an evaluation into "his mental condition at the time of the alleged offense," according to court records

Glenn Wong will receive a psychological evaluation to determine his mental condition, according to Summit County Court of Common Pleas. Wong, who faces murder charges in the stabbing death of his wife Tami Wong, appeared in court last week. His attorney, Brian M. Pierce, requested the insanity evaluation be conducted before the court proceedings continue. Wong is expected back in court near the end of May. He remains in Summit County Jail. Wong was indicted in March by the grand jury on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence, according to court records. Wong, who has pleaded not guilty to murder in the death of his wife, will return to court on April 26.

Glenn Wong has pleaded not guilty in Summit County court to murder and other charges in the February death of his wife, Tami Wong. Wong appeared in court recently, and his attorney sought a continuance in the case. The pre-trial hearing has been continued until April 26. Wong was indicted in March by the grand jury on two counts of aggravated murder, one count of murder, one count of kidnapping, one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence, according to court records. According to the police report, officers were called to 3180 Abrams Drive at 7:06 a.m. Feb. 24 to deal with a domestic violence in progress. Wong Children Are 'Doing The Best They Can'

Twinsburg Superintendent Kathryn Powers says that the children of Glenn and Tami Wong are surrounded by the love of family members and support from their community.

The two children of Glenn and Tami Wong are "doing the best they can" considering the death of their mother and arrest of their father on Feb. 24. Twinsburg Schools Superintendent Kathryn Powers said that many family members have inquired about the children, a 10-year-old girl who is a fourth grader at Dodge Intermediary School and a 8-year-old boy who is in second grade at Bissell Elementary School. Powers said that the children, who are living with an aunt, are coping. "The children are doing the best they can under the circumstances and are surrounded by the love of their family members," she said. "We will continue to support the children while their family makes decisions about their future." Both children were home during the Feb 24 …

Candlelight Vigil Planned For Tami Wong

A candlelight memorial is planned for Tami Wong on Abrams Drive on Thursday evening.

UPDATE: The vigil is now scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday. ---- Tami Wong, the Abrams Drive resident who was slain Sunday at her home, will be remembered at a candlelight vigil Thursday night on Abrams Drive. The vigil is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Attendees are asked to park west of Darien Lane and to walk to Abrams Drive because a large crowd is expected. Attendees should bring a candle. Councilman Ted Yates announced the vigil during Tuesday's city council meeting. Organizers of the vigil asked that media not attend, Yates said. Wong Case Update: Medical Examiner Report Released; Next Court Date Set

Glenn Wong has been charged with the death of his wife, Tami Wong, after she died of stab wounds after a domestic altercation. Now the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office has released its report ruling her death a homicide, saying she died of multiple stab wounds, reports the Twinsburg Bulletin. Glenn Wong, who pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated murder earlier this week, is expected to appear in Summit County Court of Common Pleas on March 4 for a preliminary hearing. Bond for Wong was set at $1 million cash. He did not have an attorney when he was arraigned on Monday, and it's unclear if he's hired representation yet. Twinsburg Man Charged With Aggravated Murder In Stabbing Death

Glenn Wong, 50, of Twinsburg, is in the Summit County Jail charged with aggravated murder.

A 50-year-old Twinsburg man is charged with aggravated murder in the stabbing death of his wife, according to Twinsburg Police. Glenn Wong, 50, is currently in the Summit County jail on the murder charge. Wong will be arraigned Monday in Stow Municipal Court, according to the Twinsburg Bulletin. The woman, who's name has not been released yet, was found stabbed multiple times in a first-floor bedroom just after 7 a.m. Police were heading to the house on a domestic violence call. The woman died at the Cleveland Clinic Family Health and Surgery Center, where she was taken for her injuries. WKYC Channel 3 has reported that two children were in the home at the time of the incident.

Police Investigating Death on Country Club Circle

Woman came home to find husband dead

Twinsburg detective and the Summit County Medical Examiner are investigating the death the death of a Country Club Lane man earlier this morning, according to a police dispatcher. The name of the victim has not been released, the dispatcher said. Police were called to the home around 11:46 a.m. and found the dead body in the home. News Channel 5 said the wife of the victim and his 6-year-old found him dead in the bathroom. More information was not available, but keep checking back with Twinsburg Patch as more information becomes available.
