Braxton Miller or Kenny Guiton: Who Would You Play?

If you were Ohio State Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer, would you start Miller or Guiton?

Twinsburg knows about football. So let's play head coach for a minute. Ohio State football fans around the world had a deep exhale as backup quarterback Kenny Guiton led the Buckeyes on a last-minute drive against Purdue Saturday. Guiton then led them to victory in overtime. Starting quarterback Braxton Miller was taken to the hospital near the end of the game after a hard hit, giving Guiton the reins for the offense. Nickname for Braxton Miller: Braxton Throws to high or throws behind, hogs the ball, can't think football, thinks it's funny when he plays badly, Miller. He has extraordinary legs, and throws the long ball well, but with shorter passes he more often than nor throws high or behind. Jim Tressel Headlines Chamber Luncheon

The former Ohio State Buckeyes head coach is the guest speaker at an upcoming Chamber Networking Luncheon.

Former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel will be the keynote speaker at an upcoming luncheon featuring the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce. Tressel will speak at Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern on East Aurora Road on Wednesday, Oct. 17. The luncheon runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tressel is now the president for strategic engagement at the University of Akron. He resigned as the head football coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2011.  His talk is titled "The Attitude of Gratitude."  The luncheon is part of the 3Chamber format, featuring chambers of commerce from Aurora and Solon as well.

Twinsburg Plays Buckeye Pick 'Em

Many will be watching the game tonight and think Ohio State will pull out a big victory.

Tonight Ohio will be watching the Ohio State Buckeyes battle against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the Nokia Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Sometimes it feels like the entire state is represented by the Bucks, and that is evident in Twinsburg as well. Twinsburg Patch went out to see what you were thinking about tonight's game and gave everyone the chance to pick the winner. Dan West thinks it will be pretty close but believes the scarlet and gray will pull it out. "I think it'll be a good game. Although (Ryan) Mallett has good experience against OSU," West said.
