9-Year-Old Left Home Alone Calls 911

The information in this report is from the Twinsburg Police.

A 9-year-old girl in Twinsburg said she accidentally called 911 after she was left home alone by her father, according to Twinsburg Police. A police officer went to the Darrow Park Drive home and spoke to the girl, who said she dialed the emergency number accidentally and confirmed she was home alone. No arrests were made, but children services were contacted and informed of the incident which occured May 12 at about 9:30 a.m., according to the police report. The girl's father was contacted at work and advised by police to come home.

Cash Stolen From Twinsburg Stadium Concession Stand

The information in this report is from the Twinsburg Police.

Twinsburg Police are investigating the theft of cash from the register at the Twinsburg sports stadium concession stand. Members of the Twinsburg Athletic Boosters told police that on May 9 they noticed that $300 was missing from the cash register. The theft is under investigation.

Firefighters were called to smoke on the east side of the building about 9:40 a.m. and reported to police that there was someone living there. Officers located a man walking to the area, who admitted to having a fort and cooking. The said he believed he had gotten permission to camp there. Home Attacked With Toilet Paper, Mustard and Eggs

Twinsburg Police are investigating a May 4 incident in which a home on Neille Lane was toilet papered and also hit with mustard and eggs, according to a police report. A police officer went to the home and saw that it was covered in toilet paper, that mustard had been sprayed on the mailbox and broken eggs were near the front door. The officer also noticed more toilet paper on trees near the intersection of Adams Run and Mikala. There are no suspects now but the case is under investigation.

Pitching Machine Stolen From Pinnacle Sports

A pitchching machine was stolen from the back lot of the Pinnacle Sports Academy on Ravenna Road in Twinsburg. A manager called the police on April 29 when he caught people who described themselves as "scrappers" trying to remove a pitching machine from the back lot of the sports academy, according to the police report. They were told to leave. But the manager then discovered that a pitching machine was already missing and likely been stolen sometime within the last four days. The machine was valued at $300, according to the police report.

Man Charged With Assaulting Girlfriend at Motel

A 20-year-old Solon man faces assault charges after his 19-year-old girlfriend told Twinsburg Police he assaulted her at a Twinsburg motel. On April 22, the woman called police to say that her boyfriend assaulted her at the Blue Top Motel on Ravenna Road and then fled in her car, according to the police report. The woman was treated by paramedics for minor injuries. The man was found a short time later at a home on Ravenna Road. He was charged with assault, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Same goes for the " apts for low income trash" . I was at CVS on 91 by Glenn Eagle Golf Course and witnessed 4 black males attempting to steal. The managers were following them around and they left with nothing. Followed them across the street to the apts , not the Deer Run apts but the ones across the street where the section 8 is at. Woman Caught Driving Illegally Because of Tinted Windows

A 44-year-old Northfield woman was caught driving with a suspended license because she was pulled over for windows that were too tinted, according to Twinsburg Police. On April 25, an officer pulled over a 1997 BMW driving on East Aurora Road because the windows were highly tinted. The officer tested the tint and found that it was too tinted, according to the report. The woman's information was run through the database and found that she shouldn't have been driving because her license was suspended and she had an active warrant for another traffic offense, according to the report. The woman was arrested and taken to the Twinsburg jail, and she later posted bail. She will report to Stow Municipal Court on May 3.

Crafty Scam Nets Thief Cases of Beer A man has hit two Giant Eagle stores in Fairlawn with a scam that allowed him to walk out with multiple cases of free beer. According to the report, the man identified himself to the manager as a Tramonte Distributing employee who had come to inventory the shelves for outdated beer. He went into the cooler and loaded six cases of Miller Lite, plus a six-pack of Miller Lite, into a shopping cart, then wheeled it out to his car and left. Woman's Purse Stolen At Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg

The information in this report is from the Twinsburg Police.

A woman told Twinsburg Police that she believes her purse was stolen while she had a doctor's appointment at the Cleveland Clinic facility on Darrow Road. The woman said she was at the facility on the morning of April 15 for an appointment and she left it there. The officer touched base with the hospital and watched security footage and was no able to locate the purse or any leads. The purse was orange in color and contained a number of credit cards, according to the report.

Domestic Dispute Leads To Drug Charges

A 39-year-old Twinsburg man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found suspected drug remnants after they responded to complaints of a domestic dispute. Police arrived and helped the woman, who had been fighting with the man, retrieve belongings from an apartment on Ravenna Road so that she could spend the evening with a friend. Police searched the home and found in a dresser a mirror covered in suspected cocaine residue, a razor blade, a glass pipe with suspected marijuana residue and counterfeit crack cocaine, according to the police report. The man was cited with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and ordered to appear in Stow Municipal Court on Thursday.
