Track Santa: Use NORAD and Google Maps

NORAD website and smartphone apps lets you follow St. Nick's every move

No need to check out the skies of Twinsburg on Christmas Eve to see if Santa Claus is really coming to town. You can track the Jolly Old Elf the high-tech way. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is charged with keeping the United States and Canada safe from dangers originating from the sky or space. For Christmas, however, the Colorado-based government agency adds one more important task to its daily list of duties. The agency will again provide its Official Santa Tracker that marks The Big Man's every move as he makes his way throughout both hemispheres. Google has its own Santa Tracker too. Included on the site is a countdown and activity page and a flight tracking system. Going to be out of the house? Don't worry, you…

Share your Cute (and Scary) Photos with Santa!

Spread some Christmas magic (or laughs) by sharing those adorable (or scary) pictures of kids sitting on Santa's lap here!

There's something magical about seeing the look in a child's eyes when they peer into Santa's.  Or — it's the look of fear and terror.  Let's face it, sometimes the trip to visit isn't as pleasant as we all imagined. Either way, share some of the Christmas fun by posting your latest pictures of children sitting on the big man's lap. If there are enough submissions, the top photos will be shared in another story!  Take a look at some photos shared on creepysantaphotos.com, for a good laugh or a shiver.  To post your own photo, click "upload photos and videos" at the top of this story.  Looking for hours and information about Santa at South Park Mall?     Have you had the talk with your kids about Santa? Do you feel it's something that parents should handle or just let be? We're intentionally being vague of course. We all know what we're talking about here, right? So take our poll and tell us what you think. Then explain in the comments.
