Solon councilmen have said that while they understand Twinsburg is relying on the judgement of their experts, Solon officials have general concerns about what the roundabouts will do to traffic in their city. Solon Councilman Rick Bell said that Solon has a traffic light just over the border that cost the city $250,000. He's uncertain how that light will be affected by the roundabouts. He said that GPD is already being …

77buttons - questions I share, as well. I talked with councilman Rodin, and he does have some concerns, or at least understood them, and wanted answers. He shared that there were more studies that were going to be performed, but I don't believe those studies have either been completed or released. I'm a systems thinker, and what concerns me as they drew the border line on the "impacted zone" too …   more ›

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Perhaps this man was trying to beat the rooster. On Feb. 18 around 3:15 a.m., a Sandalwood Drive resident reported hearing a drunk person yelling and "making animal sounds" in the area. Twinsburg police officers located the person, a Solon man, sitting at the top of the silo at the Old Corbett's Farm. The man came down the ladder, and was arrested. He was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct/intoxication, and held on a PR Bond.

Actually he is lucky that is all he was charged with. The way I see it, they cut him a break. And yes, being drunk and disorderly, trespass is a crime. Immagine how much money would be wasted if that guy would have fallen and ended up in the hospital.   more ›
