Woman Reports Strange Man Prowling Around Her Apartment

Police are investigating a Twinsburg woman's reports of a strange man prowling around her apartment, including leaving balloons, peeping through the window and, maybe, leaving a dog toy in her apartment, according to a Twinsburg police report. The 44 year-old Darrow Park Drive resident called police on Jan. 30 at about 8:43 p.m. to report that a "possible prowler" had left a bouquet of ballons on a chair outside the apartment with a note. It is not the only incident. The woman also said that on Jan. 29 her brother caught a man looking into one of the apartment's windows. One woman's grocery trip turned frightening fast. A female Giant Eagle customer got a call on her cell phone on June 18 from someone who claimed they were watching her from the parking lot. The employee who called police said the woman was part of a scam as she was going to wire money in the store. Police searched but didn't find any suspicious cars in the parking lot. Fake money is a "faux" pas On June 18, a manager at the McDonald's on East Aurora Road called police, saying the store accepted counterfeit money the day before. Seven counterfeit twenty-dollar bills were taken in by an unknown number of employees during the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. shift. Assault by a juvenile Police were called to a Lost Pond Drive home on June 19 for an assault…
