What You Need to Know About the March 6 Primary

Presidential candidates are only a small part of the ballot

Ohio voters will decide much more than the Republican Presidential primary on March 6. It's a major election that will narrow fields of candidates in a number of state, regional, judicial and county races, as well as decide local issues in some communities. Here's what you need to know: Deadlines for Voters • You can register to vote until Feb. 6, which is 30 days before the election. • If you want to vote by mail, the county Board of Elections has to have absentee ballots ready by Jan. 31.
