Weather Alert: Big Storm To Bring Freezing Rain Early Friday

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Northeast Ohio from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

A storm moving across the United State is expected to bring snow and freezing rain to Northeast Ohio early Friday, according to the National Weather Service. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of Northeast Ohio from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday. About an inch of snow will fall sometime Friday but warming temperatures are expected to turn it into freezing rain, forecasters say. Roads will be slick, so the NWS advises commuters to drive at slower speeds and keep greater distances between cars.
