A 17-year-old Twinsburg teen was tasered and arrested after police say he attempted to steal from a gas station and then became aggressive after he was caught, according to a police report. On April 10 at 10:15 p.m., a Twinsburg Police officer was working security at GetGo on Hadden Road when the officer observed a 17-year-old teen take a bottle of juice and put it in his pants. The officer confronted the teen and tried to place him in handcuffs, the teen became aggressive, according to the police report. The report said the teen would not comply with officers' orders and was in a "fighting stance with clenched fists," according to the report. Twinsburg police tasered a drunken, belligerent man twice after he tried to fight officers who had asked him to leave a bar, according to a police report. Christopher L. Hoch, 29, of Twinsburg, is charged with assault, vandalism, resisting arrest and intoxication, according to the police report. The assault and vandalism charges are both felonies. According to police report, employees at Rush Hour on Ravenna road called police on Dec. 15 just after midnight reporting that a drunken man had refused to leave the bar when they asked him to. Police were forced to use a Taser on an 18-year-old Twinsburg man as he kept resisting arrest
A Twinsburg woman awoke with a scare on March 23 when she heard a man hammering on the door of her Van Oaks Drive home at 11 p.m. The man was her 18-year-old nephew Eugene Vasser III, also from Twinsburg. Vasser was banging on the door and windows trying to get into her house, even though he was not allowed there and was recently kicked out of his home. When police arrived, they saw Vasser trying to get in and he ignored officers as they asked him to put his hands in the air. After several tries they forced him to the ground where he fought with them. He tried to stand up when cops told him they would use the Taser if he didn't stop struggling.
