Panera Bread May Be a Few Months Away

Twinsburg Planning Director Larry Finch said the popular chain could be up and running soon.

Panera Bread advocates might not have to wait too long for the restaurant to be baking in Twinsburg. Planning Director Larry Finch said Panera is moving forward with plans to occupy multiple spaces in Town Center Plaza on Darrow Road. They will be the south end of the building, by near Giant Eagle. There is no "apparent date" because no contract for the interior modifications has been on file, but Finch expects it to happen soon. "They're at least a month or two from being open," Finch said.  Paving improvements were made several weeks ago to meet certain requirements for Panera to move into the facility. Panera's will be a great addition to Twinsburg's restaurant options. Their food is of high quality and the space is inviting and welcoming. They usually have wi-fi, also, which is a big plus for business people. Happy to see Panera's coming to town. Dennis James Deegan CTM   more ›

What Would You Like to See in This Town Center Storefront?

After an independent video store left, this storefront has been vacant. What would you like to see in the space?

Ever since it was vacated by an independent video store, the storefront of 8928 Darrow Road in Town Center has been looking for a new owner. In 2011 Studio Wish Salon opened up for business just next door, bringing some life to an empty store front in Town Center -- next to the busy Giant Eagle. Larry Finch, director of community planning and development, said there had been discussion of possibly installing a Panera, but doesn't know where the issue stands with the owners, Town Center Properties (don't worry, we're looking into this one). Well, by now we know that Panera is a real strong probability. So that is wonderful news! I would like to see that and see them become a member of the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce. We need all local businesses to participate and share their knowledge and excitement about being in business in Twinsburg!   more ›
