Moms Talk: Your Best Thanksgiving Traditions

We want to know what Thanksgiving traditions your family has created.

Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, the counting of blessings, retelling the story of the Mayflower’s voyage, awkward hugs from family members you only see in the latter part of the year…yep, Thanksgiving is filled with traditions. Despite these seemingly national Turkey Day trends, some families carve out their own independent rituals. One family I know always participates in the nearest charity walk, combining exercise and giving back. Another family I know replaces turkey with tofu, also giving each member a veggie dish to be the chef of (I am assuming the 2-year-old is exempt).
