This theme encompasses several different ideas that were mentioned by those that shared some ideas. Think dragons, knights, princes and princesses, wizards, kings & queens, ogres, castles…the ideas are endless! There are many more "fables and fairy tales" than the more common ones that you are familiar with, and from so many different countries. In its 37th year, the festival topped the number of registered twins from 2011
The unofficial numbers are in and they prove it was another "twin-tastic" year at the Twins Days Festival. Sandy Miller, festival office manager, said the unofficial number of registered twins and multiples was 2,090 this year, compared to 1,736 sets in 2011. "The festival was a great success," Miller said in an email to Patch. She was glad to see such beautiful weather (despite a shower or two on Sunday) and high numbers. Want more Twinsburg news like this? Sign up for our eNewsletter by clicking here. While still unofficial, this year's attendance is the highest since 2003, when 2,756 sets registered. Bonnie Harley and Connie Smith, 69, have made seven trips to Twinsburg for the Twins Days Festival
Bonnie Harley and Connie Smith made their seventh trip to the Twins Days Festival this weekend. The Duncansville, PA pair wanted to come a long time ago, but they had too many things going on. But once they visited the annual celebration of twins, they were glad they finally made it. "We thought if we don't do it soon, it's going to be too late," Bonnie said. "It's fun to come and see all of it." For these two, the twin bond is a special one. Even after 69 years, they love spending much of their time together. They even live seven minutes from one another. "We've learned that you can't live too far apart," Bonnie said. The twins learned that lesson pretty fast. When Connie got married, she and her husband decided to move to Maryland, in …

This year's Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio welcomed twins from all over the country and the world. It is the largest festival dedicated to Twins in the country. Twins who registered at the event could participate in contests, talent shows, and other fun activities. And most of all, they are able to bond with other twins. Fortunately weather did not hault the festivities. The bright sun made it possible for around 1,500 twins to come out and enjoy the fun. This year the event has a circus theme, where anyone is welcome to come in costume for the events. Miller attributes the success of the festival to its fun attractions. "It is fun, entertainment, children's rides and games, beer garden, firworks, it is a festival like all …
