Belligerent Man Tasered By Twinsburg Police

Twinsburg police tasered a drunken, belligerent man twice after he tried to fight officers who had asked him to leave a bar, according to a police report. Christopher L. Hoch, 29, of Twinsburg, is charged with assault, vandalism, resisting arrest and intoxication, according to the police report. The assault and vandalism charges are both felonies. According to police report, employees at Rush Hour on Ravenna road called police on Dec. 15 just after midnight reporting that a drunken man had refused to leave the bar when they asked him to. Police found the man asleep at the bar. When they roused him and asked him to step outside, he became angry and began yelling and swearing at the officers, according to the police report. Grinch-Like Criminal Strikes Again

A criminal Grinch has struck again in Twinsburg, according to News Channel 5.

At least two homes in Twinsburg have already had wires to their Christmas lights cut. Now it appears that a criminal Grinch has struck again in Twinsburg, according to News Channel 5.   Twinsburg police told the news station that someone cut the lights on a Forest Lake Drive home Monday night. On Dec. 4 at about 8 p.m., a resident of Brighton Circle called the Twinsburg Police to report that someone cut a strand of her Christmas lights on her home. She told the police that the same thing happened to one of her neighbors.

Grinch-Like Criminal Cuts Christmas Lights At Twinsburg Homes

The information in this report is from the Twinsburg Police.

A Grinch-like criminal decided to try to ruin Christmas for some Twinsburg families, according to a police report. On Dec. 4 at about 8 p.m., a resident of Brighton Circle called the Twinsburg Police to report that someone cut a strand of her Christmas lights on her home. She told the police that the same thing happened to one of her neighbors. Police were sent to the home to take a look.

Car Window Smashed While Driving: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

One Twinsburg man was driving along, minding his own business when vandals struck. A Rolling Hills Drive man called police on Oct. 18 to report damage to his car.  He told officers he was stopped on Ravenna Road and Glenwood Drive when someone hurled a rock at his car and shattered his front passenger window. More car damage On Oct. 20 a Belleau Drive man for a reported his car was damaged while it was parked in the driveway. The owner said his car was parked overnight when he found damage to the left rear.   It looked like someone used a blunt object and struck it, judging by the two dents, about 10 long on the car.   Trespassing On Oct. 15 police were called about a 51-year-old man trespassing on the property of the Presidential Parkway …

UPDATED: Twinsburg Women Involved in Vandalism at Liberty Park

Park rangers caught three people who confessed to the graffiti

Story updated at 1:45 p.m. Two Twinsburg women, sisters, were questioned and charged with vandalism in Liberty Park on Sept. 2, according to Metro Parks Serving Summit County. Rangers found graffiti in the cave of the park the same day, which they believe happened sometime around Aug. 31.  The sisters, and their male cousin from Stow, have all been charged with destroying and defacing Metro Parks poperty and are to appear in Stow Municipal Court. The man was also charged with drug paraphernalia, found with a marijuana pipe, according to the ranger's report. --------- Rangers at Liberty Park caught three people who vandalized a cave, according to the Metro Parks Serving Summit County's Twitter page. Romeo's Pizza Window Smashed: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

Vandals struck a local pizza place, according to Twinsburg police. On Sept. 8 around 1:30 a.m. the alarm for Romeo's Pizza on Ravenna Road alerted police of a front glass break. Police found two large holes in the window and slight damage to the building.  The manager responded and found several large pieces of blacktop inside the store. More mailbox vandalism Police found a mailbox on the ground on Cannon Road on Sept. 8 around 2:30 a.m. After investigating, the officer found several other mailboxes in the area had been damaged.  Police have no suspects. Roadside Drug Busts and More: The Blotter

Police had their work cut out for them last weekend on the roadways with several drug busts and drunken driving arrests. On July 8 police pulled over a car on State Route 82 for having one headlight. During the stop officers smelled marijuana and found two baggies, a metal smoking pipe and a cigarette. The person was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession. The same day another car was stopped for weaving and police found a smoking device and a bag of weed. The driver was arrested for possession and drunken driving. Drinking and Speeding On July 7 a man was pulled over on Hadden Road for speeding. During the stop officers noted the man did poorly on a field sobriety test and refused a breathalyzer.
