Drunken Driver Causes Car Crash: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

On July 27 at 8:30 p.m. Twinsburg police responded to a minor traffic accident on Darrow Road, near Panini's. Officers determined one driver was drunk and he was arrested. Use your signal, not drugs On July 27, officers stopped a car on I-480 for a turn signal violation. The driver was given a written warning for the turn signal, however a passenger was cited with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Officers found a burned marijauna roach and a metal grinder with marijuana residue. Driving and grinding On July 28 police stopped a car on I-480 East near for weaving. Officers found a metal grinder with marijuana residue in the car and the driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and was released at the scene.

Suspicious Car at Moraine Park Leads to Drug Bust: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department

Suspicious car? Check. Empty park? Check. Late at night? Check. Of course the police are going to check it out. On May 28 at 9:36 p.m. police saw an older Oldsmobile parked in the parking lot of Moraine Park with its lights off. The officer found two men in the car, which smelled like marijuana. Police found a burned marijuana cigarette, a baggy of marijuana and an empty baggy. However, only the driver was charged with drug possession, and he was released at the scene. Family Feud On May 29 a Beachwood man went to police, saying his 12-year-old son was assaulted by his aunt at a picnic the day before. The boy told police that his aunt hit him and choked him, showing the officer marks on his neck. The aunt came to the station and filled out…
