Drunken Driving and Stolen iPhone: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

Twinsburg police had several drunken driving arrests recently. On Nov. 2 police stopped a car for speeding on State Route 82 near Canyon Falls. The driver was charged with drunken driving after a blood-alcohol level of .17. The driver was released on a $500 bond. On Nov. 4 just before 1 a.m. police stopped a car for not using the correct lanes. The driver was arrested for drunken driving and released on a $500 bond. Lock your locker, please On Nov. 1 a woman came to police reporting her son's iPhone was stolen from an unlocked locker at the Twinsburg Fitness Center. The son said there was no one in the area and didn't know who could have taken it.

Police Make 5 Drunken Driving Arrests This Weekend: The Blotter

The following information is provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

The Twinsburg Police Department had a busy weekend on the streets as officers recoreded five arrests for drunken driving. On Oct. 6 at around 12:30 a.m, police were called about an accident at a Creekside Drive business. Officers responded and one of the drivers involved was arrested for drunken driving and having an open bottle of rum in the car. Just before 3 a.m. that same day police stopped a car on Chamberlin Road at Andrew Drive for weaving. While speaking with the 52-year-old driver, of Twinsburg, police smelled alcohol on the man who admitted to drinking. After failing sobriety tests the man was arrested for drunken driving.  At 6:30 a.m. police responded to the  11600 block of Ravenna Road for a reported suspicious car. The …
