Woman Charged With Drunken Driving After Nearly Hitting Police Car

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

What's the easiest way for police to catch a drunken driver? When they almost hit the cop's car. On Nov. 8 at around 6:45 p.m. two Twinsburg police cruisers were stopped in traffic at State Route 82 near Church Street when a car almost hit the rear police car. Officers said they heard screeching tires and saw the car just stop short of the rear cruiser, just missing it, and then pulling around and driving past. Police pulled the car over for the incident. The driver, Ebony Richardson, 34, of Cleveland, said she was looking at her cell phone and didn't see the car in front of her. She told officers that she hadn't been drinking, which she later admitted to. Police asked her to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, according to the…

Drunk Shirtless Man, Woman in Pajamas Arrested at Bank: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

He had no shirt, she was in pajamas, but they both ended up wearing handcuffs. At around 2:30 a.m. on May 28 Twinsburg police officers saw a shirtless man and a woman wearing pajamas in the bushes near the 5/3 Bank on Creekside Drive. After talking to the pair, officers realized they had a bit too much to drink and  both were under 21. The woman, a Houston, Texas resident, and the man, of Macedonia, were charged with underage consumption, a first-degree misdemeanor. Wait, we don't have that card! On May 26 a Waywood Drive couple called police after they got a letter in the mail about a Best Buy credit card they didn't own.
