Annual Golf Outing Benefits Miktarian Scholarship
Golfers will tee off Friday morning to help raise money for the Officer Joshua T. Miktarian Scholarship Fund
Twinsburg golfers will have the chance to honor Joshua Miktarian and contribute to the memorial scholarship fund at the Twinsburg Police Association's Joshua Miktarian Golf Scramble at the Glen Eagles Golf Club on Friday. “A lot of people who play in the event knew Josh (Miktarian), so it’s a good opportunity to share stories about him,” said Twinsburg Police Chief Chris Noga. Noga serves as a trustee for the scholarship fund, along with Miktarian’s wife Holly. “There’s a lot of camaraderie. It’s a good time," Noga said. The all-day event includes putting, longest drive and closest to the pin contests. Golfers will play 18 holes with lunch, a steak dinner and drinks included.
