Stuver Keeps Leadership Role on School Board

Ron Stuver will keep his seat as president of the board of education; Kate Cain-Criswell remains vice president

There won't be much movement at the top for the Twinsburg City School District's Board of Education in 2012. At Wednesday night's meeting in the government center, the board and administration asked current president Ron Stuver to reprise his role for the new year. He then kept current vice president Kate Crain-Criswell in her position also. The committees will remain the same as well. The board thought it would make the most sense to combine the curriculum and technology committees, with Cain-Criswell and Paul Crosby as representatives. The board of education will appoint a new president; vice president along with committees

At tonight's meeting at 7 p.m. in the Twinsburg Government Center, the board will elect a new president and vice president. Stuver, Cain-Criswell Remain on School Board

After an uncontested race both Ron Stuver and Kate Cain-Criswell retain their seats on the Board of Education

With no competition in this year’s election, both Ron Stuver and Kate Cain-Criswell will keep their seats on the Twinsburg City Schools’ Board of Education. Stuver, 48, was elected to his first term on the school board in 2007. His main concern has been focusing on the fiscal health of the school district and lobbying to state legislators on issues that affect school funding. Cain-Criswell, 45, has served two terms on the school board and said she is well acquainted with the challenges and opportunities facing the district.
