So how safe is Twinsburg compared to neighboring communities? Patch took the 2011 violent crimes report data that was released by the FBI and compared Twinsburg with surrounding communities including Aurora, Hudson, Reminderville, Solon and Streetsboro. Editor's Note: Crimes stats for Macedonia were not included in the report. Before reading into any of the data, the first thing to realize is that while the communities are close together, the populations do vary, which is a factor in each report. Twinsburg led all city's in reports of rape in 2011 (4) and finished higher in categories such as property crime (169), larceny-theft (132) and car theft (7).
