Cops Find Man Passed Out in Jeep, Charged With Physical Control

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

One man may have had a little too much fun on the eve of Thanksgiving. On Thursday, Nov. 22 at around 3 a.m Twinsburg police officer saw a black Jeep in the parking lot of 10735 Ravenna Rd with it's lights on and engine running.   After pulling in to check out the situation, he saw a man passed out in the driver's seat. He woke the man up and arrested him for having physical control of a car while drunk.   The man was taken back to the station where he was charged and later released on a $500.00 signature bond and court.

Police: Man Too Drunk to Pick Up His Motorcycle

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

One man should be thankful he didn't hurt himself or anyone else after trying to drive his motorcycle while drunk, police reported. On Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, Twinsburg police officers were called to SR 91 and Twinsburg Square because a man was struggling to pick up his motorcycle and get on. Police found the man at the intersection of SR 91 and Ravenna Road, where they thought he was drunk. He failed the field sobriety tests and blew a .215 on the breathalyzer test, more than twice the legal limit, and was charged with drunken driving. He was released to a family member on $500 bond.

Cops Called for Family Fight: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Twinsburg police were called to break up a fight between family members shortly before midnight on Nov. 18. Officers broke up a fight at a Sunview Drive home and both parties were cited for disorderly conduct and given a court date. One of the sides was told to leav and not return to the home. Speeding and drunken driving On Nov. 18 around 2 a.m. police stopped a car on State Route 82 near Cannon Road for speeding and weaving. During the stop the driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving.

Woman's Car Troubles Lead to Drunken Driving Arrest: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

A woman in need got more than she wanted on Nov. 15. Twinsburg police were dispatched to a disabled car on Darrow Road near Enterprise Parkway. Officers found the car in the center lane with its hazard lights flashing. After speaking with the driver police arrested her for drunken driving and was held on $500 bond. Bad driving leads to drunken driving charges On Nov. 18 police stopped a car on I-480 near Laurel Road for a traffic violation. During the stop police arrested and charged the woman for drunken driving and she was released on $500 bond.

Cops Find Drugs; Burglary Reported: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

If you get caught smelling like marijuana, blame your boyfriend. On Nov. 12 Twinsburg police stopped a car on I-480 for speeding. During the stop officers could smell marijuana coming from inside. The driver, a Cleveland woman, said her boyfriend borrowed the car the night before. When cops did a search, a marijuana blunt was found in the woman's purse, which she said she picked up off the floor before she was pulled over. She was cited for marijuana possession, a minor misdemeanor. A burglary On Nov. 14 police were called to a burglary at the 9800 block of Shepard Road shortly after 11 p.m. The resident said someone entered his apartment garage and stole several items. Neither the items or the value were listed in the report.

Darrow Park Complex Damage & a Double Auto Repossession: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

The manager of an apartment complex on Darrow Park Drive called Twinsburg Police on July 17 to report damage to a picnic table and graffiti writings on the grounds. Members of the maintenance staff identified suspects in the incidents as unsupervised juveniles from the complex. Repossessing the repossessed? A truck driver worker called Twinsburg Police at 12:37 a.m. July 17 to report that a woman took back her vehicle after he had repossessed it as part of his job duties. The woman got in the car and drove it off the tow lift, according to a police report. When officers arrived, the truck driver said his company was already tracking the vehicle with GPS. Did a Rude BMW Driver Damage A Woman's Car? The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department

One woman's day went from annoying to bad news fast. On May 23, just before noon, police were called by a 63-year-old woman who said her car had been vandalized. She said that morning she pulled into work at Coldwell Bankers on Darrow Road and a black BMW was taking up several parking spaces while the driver was chatting on his cell phone. When she asked if he would move he brushed her off, saying he needed to finish his phone call. The man finally drove away and she parked. When she went out to her car later she found it was damaged by large rocks. They saw the sign, then broke it On May 22 a man called police after a wooden sign and two spotlights were vandalized on Framingham Lane. Police had no leads on who may have caused the damage …
