I think those girls are still champions in our hearts. The streak that they ran was just unbelievable and made Twinsburg all very, very proud. It did not end exactly the way we had hoped but they certainly did not in any way embarrass themselves. Congratulations Tburg girls BB for for a great couple of seasons   more ›

Mentor Ends Tigers' Season With Huge Shutout

Cardinals top Twinsburg Tigers 41-0.

The Twinsburg Tigers knew Mentor had a star in Mitch Trubisky, but they didn't realize the star of Friday's game would be the Cardinals' defense. That defense guaranteed Mentor (9-1) would be the NEO Conference Valley Division champions by shutting out a talented Twinsburg Tigers team (6-4) Friday night at Jerome T. Osborne Stadium. In a game that will likely be remembered for years at Twinsburg High School, the Tigers defeated Mentor, 38-35. The game was a thrilling shootout, as junior quarterback Jalen Washington completed 27 of 38 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns for the Tigers. "I'm so proud of our guys and how …
