ReplyGO David! I will jump on this band wagon! What about Castro Valley wineries?? Westover and Chouinard may not be in Napa Valley but they are good (I've sipped some of their wines). Will send a note to Huell and join the campaign!

ReplyLOL! Love your tone but you do bring up a serious issue. People (including me) need to pay more attention do driving than whatever else is going on in the car, on their phone, with the kids in the back, or their lattes!

ReplyReally? I did not know that some school don't allow rolling back packs...and it's not "cool." No wonder the whole weight thing is such a big problem! What do you do then? Do your kids have back problems or complain about heavy back packs?

ReplySo David, why do you think Castro Valley should be incorporated. This is an issue I'm particularly interested in because I see pros and cons on both sides but I tend to lean more toward incorporation because available city services would increase. While I love what you wrote about your run for "city council" (hilarious), what are YOUR personal thoughts on why CV should incorporate. Or are you not willing to articulate that because you're thinking of running for a future office in the county? ;-)

Awww, c'mon Gato. There are LOTS of reasons: Rowell Rodeo's history, Castro Valley's Wineries, Lake Chabot, Pyzanno's Pizza (home to world pizza throwing champion), Knudsen's Ice Creamery, Loard's Ice Cream, JD's, the whole Castro Valley sign scandal...we've got it all! :-)
