Frozen Oasis Closes its Doors in Twinsburg

There is now one less ice cream (or in this case, frozen yogurt) spot in Twinsburg as of July 22.

A letter on the door of Frozen Oasis in the Town Centre Plaza on Darrow Road informed customers that the business is shutting down its operations in the city.

Here's what residents who wanted to cool treat read:

Dear Frozen Oasis Customers,

We will be closing this location effective July 22, 2013.

Due to the economic situation, as well as new competitors moving into the area, we sadly feel that it is in the company's best interest to close the Twinsburg location.

We would like to thank you for your past business and tell you how much we have enjoyed having you and your families as customers over the past months. Please feel free to visit one of our other 2 locations.

The store was the most recent site of the Twinsburg Cash Mob in July and opened its doors only one year ago.

There are locations in Solon and Mentor.
