Police Shut Down Party on Waldo Way: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

Twinsburg police busted up a party on July 1 when they were called to a Waldo Way home for kids running around the area.

When they got to the home they discovered a large house party, calling for backup and shutting it down.

The homeowner arrived, unaware of the shindig, and all the party people were checked and escorted off the property.

One person was arrested on a warrant and taken to Solon jail.

'Christine' Lives

An Oakview Court man called police on June 25 after his car managed to un-park itself and rolled back down his driveway, ramming a light pole of a nearby property.

It's medical, I promise

Police stopped a car on I-480 eastbound near State Route 91 on June 27 after they found the driver's license was suspended. When they talked to the driver, a 28-year-old Kent man, he was arrested for driving under suspension.

His passenger, a 31-year-old Kent woman, said they were returning from a doctors appointment and that there was nothing illegal in the car. It turned out a glass pipe with raw marijuana in a tin can was in the car and she was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
